Since 2004, the wholly owned TINE company Maritex AS has together with TINE’s Product and Development division carried out extensive research on marine Omega-3 oils. They have played an important part in the development of the patented emulsion process.

The wholly owned TINE company Maritex, and TINE’s Research and Development Centre have conducted extensive research on marine Omega-3 oils. In 2007, TINE could, as one of the first distributors in the world, offer marine Omega-3 oil free of taste and smell with low oxidation levels.
