Low oxidation Omega 3

Low oxidation Omega 3 is a primary goal for TINE’s Omega 3 products. There have been speculations as to whether oxidation in Omega 3 products can be harmful to the health. Therefore TINE is dedicated to ensuring low oxidation Omega 3 in all of our products.

A lot of research is being carried out on low oxidation Omega 3. We know that humans have a very low tolerance for rancid tastes and that we dislike food products that contain even small amounts of oxidized fatty acids. TINE has very tight quality control of their Omega 3 ingredients to ensure low oxidation Omega 3 in all products.

There is therefore very little reason to worry about the intake of food products with Omega 3 unless they taste bad. For the industry that delivers food products containing fatty acids which can easily oxidize, it is crucial to maintain a low oxidation Omega 3. In this way we ensure low oxidation Omega 3 in the production process.
